A tip to practice getting better at searching in a book.

Use the Index
Suppose you know in which chapter you want to find
a few paragraphs or sentences about a specific subject.

Note the chapter's first and last page and
find the keyword you are looking for in the Index
at the end of the book within those pages.
Scan the page
Then you can scan the page the Index directs you to.

Very simple, but we forget these simple tips sometimes.

Practice makes better.
You can get better very fast at this if you practice a little.
Pick a book you have and play with this searching technique.
